//For writers

A platform that respects your work, your readers, and your time.

Empirq is built for technical writers who've watched their math break on general-purpose newsletter platforms, their code lose its formatting in blogging tools, or burned a weekend on a static-site theme that still doesn't render KaTeX inline. We built the fix.

// Core capabilities

Everything a technical writer actually needs.

No reaching for plugins. No copy-paste hacks. No "workaround for math rendering." All of this ships in the editor on day one.

Inline + block LaTeX, server-rendered.

Type $f(x) = \frac{1}{1+e^{-x}}$ and it renders inline as you write. Block math gets full display treatment. KaTeX renders on the server — readers never see a flash of unrendered backslashes.

Code blocks with proper highlighting.

Shiki — the same engine VS Code uses — runs server-side. Python, Rust, TypeScript, CUDA, Mojo, Julia, and 30+ more. No client-side JS bundle. Your code looks right the moment the page paints.

Subfield-based discovery.

Tag your post with one of 25+ curated AI/ML subfields. Readers find your work because they were already looking for that exact subfield, not because an algorithm decided to surface it.

Newsletters that go through.

Every post automatically emails your subscribers via Resend with deliverability built on SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We don't throttle or “boost” — your post lands in inboxes.

Stripe Connect, money straight to you.

Subscribers pay you via your own connected Stripe account. Funds settle directly to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule (~2 business days for US). Empirq never holds your money.

Export everything, anytime.

Posts as Markdown + assets, subscribers as CSV. One click in settings, no email required. If you leave Empirq, you take everything with you.
// Revenue model

~3%

Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). This goes to Stripe, not us, and it's the same regardless of platform.

Concrete math: $10,000 in subscriber revenue

Gross revenue$10,000.00
Stripe processing (~2.9% + $0.30 × txns)−$320.00
Empirq platform fee (standard 10%)−$968.00
You keep (standard rate)$8,712.00
You keep (founding rate)$9,680.00
